A Few to Wobble With
Howdy SFTC listeners!
Here we have a few new dubstep tracks/ remixes that might soothe and terrify the eardrums all at once. A few of these are absolutely beautiful, and the remixes are down right dirty. In any case, Enjoy!

If an NES and a drum machine had a kid...
...it'd be called Phoenix Down. Luckily, Junk Science (MC Baje One and DJ Snafu) and their collaborator Scott Thorough have joined up to release this gem of hip-hop record.
MORE NERO LEAKS
Quick one again... I'm slowly dying from sunburn here so I'm going to post this really quick before I expire.
Two of Nero's new songs got leaked the other day. They are fantastic. Sorry for all the Nero songs we've been posting lately.
Hah, just kidding. I'm not sorry at all.
May I present to you "My Eyes" and "Book of Harmony," both by the brilliant duo that is Nero. These are going to become anthems, let me tell you.

Another Quick Couple of Tastes
Alright, so I'm just bushed from my 40+ hour work weeks, so I'm just going to post a few chunes before to go to bed to keep the masses under control before my door gets beaten down. I doubt that's happening any time soon, but you never know.
Also, happy birthday to our poster Spandrews!!!!
And to kick it old school with some hardstyle....
Because sometimes you've gotta be a badass
Howdy!
So after much deliberation about posting something that doesn't really match the general theme of hip hop/techno/dubstep I've been listening to, I decided to post a song that has truly taken me aback. After watching the latest Assassin's Creed Trailer (which might have something to do with it) I couldn't get this song out of my head. Background beat and vocals just seem to click and result in a badass "turn it up right now" sound. Enjoy!

The Cataracs- Bass Down Low
Quick one today guys...
so I heard the original of this song a while ago, and was pretty disappointed... it has potential to be just a nightmare of a track, but in their effort to make it accessible to hard-drinking 12 year olds who listen to the radio and dream of going clubbing, they really kept the beat clean.
Then the Proper Villains stepped on the scene.
Enjoy.

Adele- Rolling in the Deep Remix!
This is a great song originally, and a great remix. Quick one, because I just took some Benedril and am fading fast. Pic unrelated.

It's About Fricken Time: Part 2
Hey there!
Me again,
So aside from tripping out to some crazy music visualizers, I've also been doing my best to scout out some new dubstep. Not gonna bore you with the reading, just check out the tracklist below for a few songs that'll give your sub a solid workout!

It's About Fricken Time: Part 1
Where the hell have I been?
Between family reunions in Wiscansin and screwy internet connections I haven't made a legitimate post in roughly half a forever. Well, I'm back! and will be for the foreseeable future.
To make up for the absence, I decided to add a little extra by making this post a two-fer.
The first part is pretty awesome, and is something I've been tripping out to for a few hours now lol. If you don't have one already, head over to Soundcloud and make a profile and favorite a few songs while you're there (like this one!).
Next, go to this website and log in via Soundcloud. Pick your favorite song, hit "F" and let the trip begin! Something that should prove quite useful in the future, and pretty badass for the time being. Enjoy!

Salutory Smorgasbord
Greetings, Programs!
I'm Eric, the newest contributor to SFTC (is that the right acronym? I'm new here). Birdman's my roommate, and apparently trusts my musical tastes to be up to par. Variety is the spice of life, and I'm here to toss a whole bunch into the salad.
Wait. That came out wrong.
Whatever.
To give you an idea of my musical palette, take a tasty-taste off this audio buffet.

Infected Mushroom
So I'm an ardent follower of the music blog Vacay Wave, and after their latest inspired post I decided to pay them tribute and also feature the electronica band Infected Mushroom. These guys were one of the people that got me into real hard-edged electronic music. My buddy Ryan and I would listen to these guys while we were driving around in high school and it definitely made an impact on the kind of music that I listen to and enjoy... Infected Mushroom is known throughout the scene as having that heavy, raw, razor edged sound that really was a hardcore sound back in the day. You'll also notice that I have a lot of tracks from "Vicious Delicious" on there. Don't worry, it's the best Mushroom album. So with that being said, enjoy. Also, "Becoming Insane" is one of my favorite Mushroom tracks ever. Buckle up.

BRAND NEW SKRILLEX (now with added Diplo!)
Skrillex tries his hand at moombahton style. I think that this was a set rip from Diplo's set, but I'm not too sure. This isn't the official song, I'll tell you that much, but it probably will be released soon now that it's leaked. Enjoy. Also, be patient with this one... it takes a bit to build up and the drop isn't as heavy as you freaked out ADHD listeners would like, but it's worth it.

Unleash the Fu*king DADA
So Dirtyloud, those perennial champions of noise, have recently remixed a Dada Life song. Dada Life songs are practically begging to be remixed, for example we have that White Noise Red Meat remix that Bassjackers did that was just fantastic, one of my favorite songs of 2010. I love Dada Life and I love Dirtyloud, and I'm just rambling trying to describe this song that I'm just going to post below. Screw it, enjoy.

New DJ CamBam
So here we are again with a new mix from featured artist DJ CamBam, putting together a techy little playlist. Nifty little drums in the beginning with a cool piano riff. My favorite part of this whole thing starts around 10:20 into it, a cool vocal sample and then a pretty laid back break. Take a listen, a fun playlist to throw on and chill out to.

L8 Night Gr8 Night- Part Dos
First post! woot.
Following his truly inspired post a few days a go, I had a discussion with Mickolai in which I expressed my deep love for all music chill and lazy. Middle of the night driving music, and the like. So I thought I'd follow up with some nuggets of my own.
Note: some of you will know several of these. And I don't care.

Consider this my humble addition to a beautiful pool of crystal clear sound.
And I feel like this is always relevant-
Cheers.

Impromptu D. MONTAYNE
So D. Montayne is an up and coming artist from Santa Fe, New Mexico. If you like Atmosphere, you'll love this guy. He really takes rap back to its roots as a form of urban poetry, concentrating on the lyrics and wordplay rather than falsified depictions of glamour, fame, riches, and sex which are so prevalent in the lyrics of today's big artists. He concentrates on themes such as poverty, chasing one's dream, and self-respect. I'd fit this guy in with the likes of Slug or Macklemore with his writing style as opposed to a Pitbull, Lil Wayne, or Kanye West. His concentration is on his writing, not the beat.
That being said, listen to his new video, released today, which features a spoken word piece by him. To make this even more impressive, keep in mind that this was written in one of his Management classes at the University of Notre Dame.

Unrelated Songs II- The Reckoning
So I've just been listening to Hypemachine like it's my job, since I don't have an actual job yet, and here are some of the little treasures I've found in the past two days.
Pay special attention to all of them, but here are some things to watch out for:
J Rabbit's continued mastering of samples
Wolfgang Gartner's massive high synths
Whomprat's huge drums after the break
Feed Me's normal tug on our heartstrings
Heavy drops from Gemini, then a little vocals afterwards to clean things up. Sounds a bit like our man Flux P if you ask me.

Trance Trance Revolution
Howdy folks,
It's been a while since I've delved into the world of trance, but after crossing a few tracks today I figured I'd revisit some old habits and see what popped up. Four hours later I'm still head bobbing, glassy eyed and relaxing to the synthy, trancey goodness that's been neglected for so long. Below you'll find a list of a few that were particularly pleasant. Enjoy!

Kid in the Background Goin' Crazyyyyy
J. Rabbit leaked this for free yesterday... easily the song of the week. And I love love love the slowdown about two minutes in! Huge taste.
And if you're wondering where the sampling comes from...

Two Completely Unrelated Songs
So I've had these two songs stuck in my head. One is a relatively recent remix, and another has been a perennial fan favorite since high school.
The first is a killer remix of Swedish House Mafia's recent single "Save the World." Pretty banging mix. Takes a bit to get going, but it's a fun little tune. The drop isn't too great, but the buildup is sweet!
Swedish House Mafia- Save the World (Style of Eye and Carli Remix).
Next we have Ecstasy by ATB. Chilled out trance, it's been a classic for years, but just in case you haven't heard it, here's a small taste. One of my favorite trance songs of all time. In fact, this song was one of the ones that started getting me into electronic music. Enjoy.

FEED ME
I'm really freaking hungry right now. All I've had to eat today is some Honey Bunches of Oats and a hot dog. No bueno. This obviously puts me in the mood to listen to Feed Me. This dude is signed to Mau5trap and you got a small taste of him yesterday with his big chune Strange Behaviour. I'm not going to put this one on the playlist because I a) just linked to it and b) threw it up yesterday, but it's one of my favorite tunes at the moment. This guy has some great stuff coming out, and definitely worth a listen or ten.

Nero- Innocence (Feed Me Remix)
Robyn- Call Your Girlfriend (Feed Me Remix)
Feed Me- Pink Lady

Late Night Great Night
So it's like 11:00 PM over here in San Diego and I'm just chillin in my room listening to some relaxing jams. They're really getting me in a mellow mood so I thought I'd share my current playlist. I don't even know what genre of music this stuff is, but if I was to put a frame of mind to this playlist I would put this playlist on while I'm driving home or something at like 1 in the morning- I'm tired, worn out, and just zoning on the freeway listening to this stuff. Great.
Here's the tracklist:
Balam Acam- Oh, Why
Disclosure- I Love... That You Know
Feed Me- Strange Behaviour
Ghost Feet- Top Papez
Chymera- Ghosts
When Saints Go Machine- Fail Forever (Nicolas Jaar Remix)
Olafur Arnalds- Tunglio
