Since summer is officially upon us (or at least me) I think it's time to share some of my favorite summer jams. All of these are super old, but all of these are worthy of a listen or at least a spot on the mixtape as you drive through the city with your window down. Protip- try and find the Jamaican influence in all of them. I am so cliched.
Sublime: Doin' Time (This one has to be on the list, sorry guys. If this ISN'T on your mixtape, stop, drop, and kill yourself).
Buck-O-Nine: My Town (This is a San Diego classic, baby. Hometown pride! This also pretty much sums up my summers from when I was 13 until about now).
Damian Marley: Beautiful
Ben Harper: Ground on Down
